Vegas Vacation

The kids and I went to Vegas with Jeff on his business trip a few weeks ago.  He flew down early and we drove down for the weekend.  Jeff made the cutest chart for the kids that showed everything we were going to do while we were there.
We swam, ate, relaxed, shopped, and just had a fun time being together.
Jeff and I both have commented on how much fun our kids are getting now that they are getting older and able to do more.  Diapers, naps, bottles or nursing, and a strict schedule make it tough for some to fully relax.  At least for me, this was the case.  I have relaxed quite a bit over the last year.  It really helps to breath and enjoy life.
 Swimming!

 Craft projects in the room!

We went to a new children's museum that opened in Las Vegas a few months ago.  It was the highlight of the trip.  They got to wander around all day and do a little bit of everything that kids LOVE to do.

 More crafting...

They had a section that was a veterinarians office where they got to choose an animal out of a cage, give it x-rays, shots, clip their nails, brush them, and fill out a doctor report.  Kaebrie LOVED this!
They had a Jamba Juice section where they made pitas, sandwiches, smoothies and all kinds of pretend play.  After the kids worked in each section they earned a pay check.  They had a grocery store, tire shop, construction sight, and so many other fun things to do.

They had a pirate ship and castle where Kaebrie ran the ship and Owen was the King of the castle.  I thought Kaebrie would've loved being princess in the castle but she was more excited about shooting cannons.

The aftermath of a long day playing!

Jeff and his phone...  Had to document what I see every time I look at him:)

 More swimming...
